After getting called up to AA Trenton at the end of last year, Pat Venditte got off to a rather rough start. In very limited work last season at the AA level Pat got hit in one of his outings resulting in the 9.00 ERA he had. The first month of the 2011 season was no better for Pat as he compiled an ERA of 6.55 in 8 games during the month of April. However Pat was lights out in May as he posted an ERA of 1.57 and opponents hit just .210 off of him. At one point he had over a 20 inning scoreless inning streak earning him the nickname, Patty Bagels. As for recently Pat’s ERA has remained under 3.00 and he has been more than reliable for manager Tony Franklin in tight games.
